I have enjoyed your flea/tiquing trips so much and want to tell you about some interesting items we saw recently on our B&B trip to Magnolia Hall. There are several Antique/Flea Markets in Pine Mountain and Warm Springs, which are both near Callaway Gardens.
First you will need to get some virtual money from this old cash register - on sale for $400.
This blue & white soup tureen was only $25. I was mighty tempted.
This one was made in California (NOT Red Cliff) and a mere $15
4 Cute Cow napkin holders - $6. I remember that there are quite a few cow lovers out there.
Another soup tureen for $28. Isn't the shape lovely?!

Aren't they a cute couple? Only $5

Here's a little Queen Anne vanity for only $65!

Now this buffet (which is crying for a few coats of black paint) was large and just $275.
These miniature cakes were only 2 to 3 inches tall, but cost $14 each. Yikes! That's more than a real cake!
And now for some serious money....this lovely Italian display case was reduced from $4800 to $1800....what a deal?!
Coming up - some Red Cliff Ironstone!!!! The large soup tureen cost $325, and the individual soup tureens sold for $275 per pair! I didn't even price the eensy condiment tureens on the sides.
And now for you rooster lovers...note this handpainted sideboard with roosters on top for $2695!!
Debbie at Confessions of a Plate Addict will be receiving this lovely Quimper cream jug on her virtual birthday when I come up with my virtual $400!

How many of your grandmothers, like mine, owned this pattern. The price is $85, but no telling how little my Grammy paid for her whole set of dishes like that which she bought from the Jewel Tea Man in the 1920's!

I thought this might be Red Cliff, but upon examining it I found that it was made in California, that's all....probably a knock-off. It was $45, but 40% off....so about $27.

Okay, you want to tally up my purchases on this 1915 cash register from a candy store costing a mere $1250....cha ching.....
I didn't buy a thing. HOWEVER, Debbie and I went to Goodwill on Monday and I spied a Red Cliff covered vegetable dish for $9.99. Whaaaatttt, we said, are they crazy?????? I bought it before they found out they were crazy!
A big thank-you to all you bargain shoppers out there who have inspired me to look and wait, because there's always a deal to be found! Happy shopping! Linda

Hi Nina...thanks for the tour, it saved me gas from driving to Warm Springs...We had that exact cash register and sold it on E-Bay...didn't get even close to $1250. for it...and I remember the Jewel man....does that mean I'm getting very old...See you on the
2nd...Sue.
I love virtual shopping with virtual money and my checkbook REALLY appreciates it. I do believe you might have secured the best buy of the day, week, or possibly even the month.
When Debbie has her virtual BD does that mean that she is only one year older in virtual years or in real years? Thoroughly enjoyed my trip with you.
Glenda,
When Debbie has her virtual BD, that means she can pick how ever old she wants to be - it's her virtual birthday! Linda

This has been a wonderful virtual shopping trip! I bought several of the tureens & the rooster sideboard. I just have to find the virtual spots to place it all! ☺ Diane
I loved your virtual shopping trip, it had some pretty neat stuff. But, your Goodwill purchase was a super find!! I went out of town for the weekend, and went to a Goodwill there. I was not that lucky, maybe next time.
