A Little Comfort Foodie

Welcome to the first ever Foodie Friday hosted by Gollum at Designs by Gollum. Be sure and visit her site to see some wonderful potlock participants.

Since I am a little sniffly and have a scratchy throat, I decided I needed some comfort food - a little Chicken Noodle Soup. A friend sent me the recipe from Southern Food and it is called "Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup".

Mmmmmm....sniff, sniff.... this is really good! This is the second time I've made it. It's hard to tell, but there are bits of chicken, green peas and sauteed veggies, and some noodles.

Now, in case you missed a couple of gourmet breakfasts that I posted yesterday, I thought I'd add them. I didn't make them, but they are wonderful. The first is baked havarti egg, baked stuffed French toast with strawberries, and bacon. Yum Yum!!

The second outstanding breakfast is creamed scrambled eggs, canadian bacon, and sweet potato biscuits topped with apple mixture and whipped cream. Mmmmmmmmm good!

Well, how about rushing over to Gollum at Designs by Gollum and see what else is cooking!
Bon appétit! Linda

Oh your soup looks so good. I love chicken noodle soup and especially when I don't feel too good. Just seems like it's better than medicine. Your two breakfast dishes are fabulous also. Now I'm really hungry. Hugs, Marty
