Company for dinner - Double Post

Welcome to a double post - Tablescape Thursday, hosted by Susan at Between Naps on the Porch, and Foodie Friday - hosted by Gollum at Designs by Gollum.
We had some good friends for dinner and cards. I kept a blue/green/black/white theme going.

Hmmm....decided to add some blue & white plates.

Dinner was marinated pork tenderloin, asparagus, and oven roasted potatoes.

This is my favorite marinade and it works well with chicken, pork and beef.
2/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup oil
2 Tablespoons molasses
2 teaspoons ginger
2 teaspoons dry mustard
1 or 2 cloves fresh garlic, crushed
Mix and marinate meat for several hours in a baggie....grill and enjoy!
Don't forget to stop by Susan's at Between Naps on the Porch for some wonderful tablescapes on Thursday and then on Friday, go by Gollum's at Designs by Gollum for some yummy foodies. Bon appétit! Linda

I LOVE this marinade. It's awesome (especially on chicken, when you grill it, and then slice it up thin for the top a salad - YUM).

Hey Linda, Great tablscape and really great marinade recipe too. I make a Thai marinade that sounds similar. Rice Vinegar, Honey, Soy Sauce, Spicy Brown Mustard, and simmer for 5 minutes., baste fish and then grill. Serve remaining marinade on top while warm. This is to make Thai Salmon, our favorite. Blessings! ~CC Catherine
