Quick Italian Deliciouso!!

Welcome to Foodie Friday, hosted by Gollum at Designs by Gollum. You'll want to go by her site and enjoy a humongous feast of fabulous dishes.!
This recipe for Mozzarella Marinara Chicken is one of my "go to" recipes when I want something delish quick!

Preheat oven to 500 degrees.

In a large ovenproof skillet (I use my black iron skillet) over medium-high heat, add 2 tablespoons olive oil.

Then brown 1 pound of chicken breasts that have been pounded to even thinness. Brown for 3 to 5 minutes per side.

Spoon 3/4 cup marinara sauce over chicken pieces.

Sprinkle evenly with 1/2 cup shredded mozarella, and then 3 tablespoons grated fresh Parmesan cheese.

Place skillet in oven til cheese melts and chicken is thoroughly cooked, about 5 to 10 minutes.

Serve over bed of pasta and Enjoy!

Don't forget to stop by Gollum's at Designs by Gollum for a veritable feast!!!
Bon Appétit! Linda

This looks delicious. Thanks for a great, quick dinner idea. The way things have been going at work I don't have the time to cook the way I would like and this would be fast and yummy! Kathy

Okay now we all have to go and look up what armatale is??? You sure do learn a lot when you blog.
This really is a go to dish isn't it. So simple yet so good. My favorite pan is my big cast iron skillet. It is like a non-stick without the bad coating.

Oh my goodness, I am so jealous that you have those gorgeous yellow V&R plates. I just love the one that I found at GW, but I do so agree with you that the price at Replacements is just unreal. If I ever find a cup I will let you know. Thanks for stopping by. Hugs, Marty
