French Document Fabric

I have a wonderful little bench that just moved upstairs from the family room.
Unfortunately, the fabric did not fit in any more.
But, fortunately, I had some French Document Fabric
in a very dark chocolate (almost black) print.
So this bench......

became this.......

Love the way the morning light plays off the fabric.

I've been seeing this fabric around in muted green and red, too.

This is one my mother-in-law's lamps that no one in the family could use.
It didn't sell in our estate sale,
so I thought I'd experiment with it.
I'm going to add some paint and spackling!!!

I found this thrifty chair recently
and loved its antique French style.
I'm going to try Kim @Savvy Southern Style's
painting and glazing technique.
I hope it turns out as well as her projects do!

It's a gorgeous weekend here in the south.
I'm planning to get outside and do some painting!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend....blessings to you!
Linda
