Daughter painted this GW find
with chalkboard paint
and hung it with burlap.
It inspired me to hang my chalkboard.
This was a GW find that I had prepared by
removing the mirror, spray-paiting the back
with chalkboard paint,
and then left to sit in the basement for one. whole. year!
I originally hung it with twine....looked a little skimpy....
so I added the burlap.....hmmmmmm...
thinking about it.....
Do you have any have any completed projects
just hanging around in your basement or garage?
Join the club!
Blessings,
Linda

Oh I'm sure I could find a few:) Linda, your chalkboard is so cute...love the detailing on it.
Blessings,
Linda
Linda I LOVE them both!! Have a great weekend!
It looks wonderful, Linda! I can't believe you had that hidden away so long! If you had asked me at my old house, the answer would have been "yes", but since we've moved I don't have the room to store anything here. It's get on it and move on here at the condo!
Those were so creative - and I want the recipe for the chicken and gruyere pizza!
I just got around to completing a project that has been sitting for years. I found an old chest of drawers from the 40's that I have turned into a kitchen storage cabinet by painting it high gloss black and lining the drawers. I'm thinking a chalkboard above it would look amazing.
Linda I love these chalbioards. I espcially like the big one I like the frame a lot.
Very cute! I love the chalk board and the burlap gives it added texture and charm.
You found the perfect spot for your chalk board. (I also admired your handwriting when I saw your picture.)
My house is full of projects just waiting to be finished!
The burlap bow makes the whole board. Love it! Thanks for sharing, liz
Love the chalkboard, Linda! Great idea! The menu sounds fabulous, too! I'm afraid that would be my jot-em-down grocery list spot. Yours looks so nice! Happy week!...hugs...Debbie
