Favorite Projects of 2011

It's fun to look back and see how much has been
accomplished around the nest
this past year.
One of my favs is this simple
tea towel runner - I made this one with blue stripes
and a red striped one for fall and Christmas - great backdrop.

These tea towels (made from a thrift store
linen embroidered dress originally costing $225) were a fav, for sure.

I'm glad I copied the original antique French cow print and framed the copy.
There were 2 cows on one print, which I cut apart to make  2 prints.

Another thrift store French chair got painted and recovered
in a French document print.

This was my January mantel after Christmas last year.
Can't wait to put 'er back again.
The simplicity is so appealing.

Well, those are my favs, and judging by comments,
your favs, too.
Looking forward to seeing what your favorite projects are.
Have a wonderful, safe, blessed New Year!
Linda

Great projects...especially the one of the cow print. I never would have thought to cut it in half to get 2 prints. Brilliant. Your January mantel is lovely too. Looking forward to what you have up your sleeve in 2012. Happy New Year!

Those projects absolutely should be favorites IMO because they are just so great. I really love the document print on the chair. You were busy last year and that industry certainly shows bigtime. And that makes for a Happy New Year, too. Hope you'll stop by and see our trendy orange decor. Jane F

You have a well established variety of stuff to pick from for that hutch. Blue, red, white, what other colors of table settings you have hidden?
