Fabulous Mantel Makeover

I want to show you a fabulous mantel makeover.
I can say that because I had nothing to do with it.
My daughter had been talking about wanting to paint the mantel
for about a year!
She finally did it!
Here's the "before":

and the "after":

The topiary on the right came from GW,
and she just stripped off the greenery
and added some bows.
Also added a little GW lamp.

She painted the floral container a lighter color
And added a little pumpkin to the
GW candlestick beside the arrangement.

I love the color of the mantel with the stacked stone -
really adds depth.
Even with birthday clutter on the floor in front of the fireplace
it looks fantastic!

Thanks for stopping by.
If you're thinking of painting your mantel a deep color, go for it!

I can't believe the difference the paint color made. At first I thought, why on earth would you want to paint that lovely mantel. Then I understood - it looks fantastic. It really brings out the stacked stone. Great job! Kat

Just beautiful!! Perfect color with the stone, and some great finds for the vignette. She is an apple that didn't fall far from the tree. Thanks for sharing.
