I found this GW gem of a tall folding metal table for $8.

I loved the shape of this $3 candlestick - reminds me of "Lumière" in Belle (Beauty and the Beast).
Never underestimate the power of paint! Here it is in white....with a bow.....and apple green candles.

I had walked out of GW one day and remembered I wanted to look for a wooden box to paint. As I walked right back in 30 seconds later, they were bringing out the 2 chairs and lounge chair & footstool below, along with 2 matching swivel chairs AND the table shown above. I had been looking for a glass top table to replace my molded white porch table (previously pictured covered with a tablecloth).
The price was $35 for all 7 pieces! on senior day and I almost just took the table and left the rest, HOWEVER, I remembered daughter & daughter-in-law and took the whole pile -and voilà! The table is perfect for my curvy chairs, and both girls were thrilled to get extra chairs for free!

I think this mis-matched set works so well together. 30 year old rockers - gift from Mom 30 years ago, $20 for 4 iron chairs bought several years ago from a friend while helping her run a garage sale, $35 for table a couple of weeks ago....hmmmm, well, it takes a while for a plan (that's a plan?) to come together. I am ECLECTIC! How about you??

My little iron footstool from Daughter just fits right in, doesn't it!

I came home from an errand yesterday, and hubby was doing a little makeover -or, should I say improvement.
Check out the stepping stones below. After 31 years here (and our house on the market) he has added stepping stones. It is a nice little walkway to the faucet. Why didn't we think of this 31 years ago?

Hi Linda! Your porch is looking fabulous! How fun that you have found all of those goodies without really looking for them! I think the table and chairs look like they came together! The fabrics on your porch really are the finishng touch! Mr. Nest did a great job on those stepping stones, too. I hope you are having a great weekend! A demain!...hugs...Debbie
Love your porch items! What steals and deals. The candle holder is SO pretty in white.
You sure scored at Goodwill, that would have been 50.00 at least at ours! Love the candleholder and yes, it does look like the one in Beauty and the Beast! Enjoy!

That set would surely have been priced higher at our GW too! Everything looks fantastic! It really looks like it all goes together well! I absolutely love your back porch! And that candleabra painted white is adorable!
Your porch looks so invintng and I like the eclectic look much better than a matchy-matchy one.The black, white and apple green are so refreshing. Lovely spot to rock and enjoy.
Your porch looks so wonderful! Sometimes I feel like hanging out at Goodwill since they're always bring stuff out! That outdoor furniture was a fabulous find! I've been to two different Goodwills in the past week and nothing!! They were both sort of empty.
Did I miss where you said you're selling your house?

Hello fellow Linda! Your porch is soooo beautiful--is it screened? And I can't believe the deal you got on that furniture! Why would someone even get rid of it? The candlestick looks just like Lumiere--that is so funny! I am following you! Linda

OMGosh what a score @ GW....wish I could find some patio furniture at GW!!! It is amazing what you can do with a can of spray paint! Thanks for sharing!
You've got your porch looking so nice. Now just bring on some low humidity and temps in the 70's and I would love to spend some time there.
I had to laugh that you now have stepping stones as your home is for sale. That is always how it is for us, as well. But, better late than never.
Great finds at great prices!!! Beautiful pieces.
