A Natural Metamorphosis or Let it Snow!

Here's a little natural metamorphosis - rather than an interior met - A big "thank you" to Susan at Between Naps on the Porch where you can see all kinds of changes on Met Monday. I'm also joining Susan at A Southern Daydreamer for her Outdoor Wednesday post - lots of great outdoor photos.

We have had lots of rain in Georgia.....so much that this mighty tree went "TIMBERRRRR" in our backyard right across the creek where it made a natural bridge!

And then it snowed all afternoon and all evening.....

And we awoke to this.........WOW! This is my favorite color - deep sky blue!

Now you folks in the north and midwest are probably going "Ugh" right now, but it is so unusual for us to get snow in Georgia that we just "Ooh" and "Aah".

What a beautiful lacy design against the sky!

Did you know that on Friday there was snow in 49 states? How about that?! Even the northernmost part of Florida! Hope you enjoyed our southern snow! Don't forget to drop by Susan's for some great - and probably interior - makeovers, and Susan's Outdoor Wednesday. Blessings, Linda

I heard, yesterday, that there was snow in all 50 states......so even Hawaii!

From the Pacific NorthWET....not a lot of snow here, but LOTS of liquid sunshine. :-)

Warm blessings,
Spencer

Oh the snow is so pretty to look at, I just hate to have to drive in it. I did that for way tooooooo many years in Oregon. Enjoy, it probably won't last long. Hugs, Marty

YAH LINDA,
You got SNOW! It looks sooo pretty, but I am so up to my eyeballs in it. Seriously, it's snowing again tonight! That's amazing that 48 of our states had snow. Probably only Hawaii and hmmm, I can't guess the other. My brother lives in Flagstaff, Az, and I know they have a ton of snow. Have a great week my friend, Cindy

Your snow is beautiful, Linda!! We have had snow on the ground for 2 months. Before it has a chance to melt, we have more. But I am oohing and ahhhing over your snow because it is more special to those who rarely get it. Like if we woke up to 80 degree temps here in Chicago tomorrow!! Your pictures are beautiful. That is a gorgeous blue sky!! :-)

Linda, your photos of the trees against that gorgeous blue sky are wonderful. We didn't get any snow here, but north of us they got alot. Crazy weather this winter, it was 70 degrees and sunny at noon and by 3 we had dropped to 54 and the clouds rolled in. Hope you have a great week! Kathy

Your pictures are beautiful, and I too am in Georgia. South GA at that and we had beautiful snow. We have had tons of rain so the tree falling doesn't surprise me. I posted a few pics that I took Sat AM before it all started melting. Thanks for sharing. Jackie

Hi Linda,
The wedding pic of the two 7 year olds are my daughter and step-son. They are both 19 now and people used think they were twins. I think having twins would be so awesome! Hugs, Cindy

Hi Linda,
Wow, that was one big tree just look at those roots. Your "yard" reminds me of the woods that we walk in around here. Enjoy your snow, me I'm about ready to see the back of it!!
Thanks for stopping by in Normandy, I love having people call in.
