Cocorico! - said the French rooster

Cocorico! That's French for Cock-a-Doodle-Doo. Barb over at Bella Vista is hosting a Rooster party on Friday, and I thought I'd get my post up early in honor of those early risin' roosters. Well, actually, this is my only little chunk of free time for the next several days!

I though I had a couple of roosters to share, but as I looked around, I realized that I have a barnyard full of 'em!

First this pair of rooster pillows:

Here they are together on an iron bench in the kitchen.

A rooster planter....
My one little Italian rooster on a cannister....

A very LARGE rooster picture in the black & white toile bedroom.......

A Frenchy rooster on a tablecloth from Provence....

A pretty pair.....
One of my favs - this metal guy sits on top of the fridge.....

This is the base to a lamp.......

See?....oh, and another rooster on a plate!

Well, that's it (I think there is still one more hiding in the basement - too bad for him!).
Be sure to drop by Barb's and check out all the roosters! There are "beaucoup"!
Linda

Linda,

Judy at Gracious Southern Living told me you know Lena! Lena's such a dear friend. We've been antiquing together for 10 years now. Have shared our lives over many a road trip. I'm gonna miss her terribly.

I'll definitely try to follow your blog. First, it looks like a fun one. Second, you're a link to Lena's past. It just seems like we should be friends. ;-)
