Fall Mantel, Pumpkins, Etc.!

I'm not really an "orange" person....
I'm a "red" person....
however.....
since I just got all the red out of my living room -
and,
not too long ago, out of my bedroom, too -
well, orange is looking pretty good!
I've got some touches of orange around the house.

See the little pumpkin on the white candlestick?
It's one of 3 that I bought in the produce section of the grocery last year.
I put them in the basement over the winter, spring, summer, and they are all still perfect - no mold -
so, voilà!
Who'd have thought??

Another one of those pumpkins
on my wicker recipe box below....

Another "held-over" pumpkin!

Well, that's it for now.
I'm really liking orange - how about you?
Blessings,
Linda

Your mantel looks perfect for Fall, Linda! I didn't think pumpkins would last that long ~ that's good; saves you buying more this year. I'm not a big fan of orange, but it seems to work with the colors in our home, so I'm fine with it.

I love that your orange tones are muted a bit...that's how I like them. Your mantel looks so pretty, I LOVE your mirror! Good for you, recycling pumpkins! I will have to try that! ;-D

Everything is so lovely, and I had NO IDEA you could keep pumpkins over in the basement. Will definitely try this! Thanks for sharing...visiting from Met Monday.

Your fall elements are perfect. I used to not decorate for fall because I didn't want to use orange in my house but now I love putting out fall decor.

Pretty mantel, Linda. I tried to get rid of some of the red, but it is finding its way back.

That looks great Linda!
Love all your vignettes too, especially the wire basket.
Orange is hard for me but I am trying to incorporate a bit of it.
Hope all is well with you and your family too!
